Lizard among the rocks of Karpas (Karpaz)

A small sandy-gray lizard has frozen on dry, stony ground, almost blending in with the surrounding pebbles and rock fragments. Its long tail, scaly back, and sparse scorched vegetation are clearly visible in the frame.
