Coast at the foot of the Kyrenia Mountains

From the ferry, a coastal settlement in Northern Cyprus is visible: white houses and villas stretch along a narrow strip of shore. Behind the buildings, the dark slopes of the Kyrenia (Girne) mountain range rise steeply, partly obscured by low clouds.
